A Mountain Project & a Mermaid Party

I recently sat down for an interview with Hillary Kerr of the podcast Second Life to chat about everything from my childhood dream of being a dancer to my first design “job” (styling a bookcase, no less). I was clearly feeling inspired by the colors of our Summit Estate project this month – I love these shades of blue and rich marigold paired together. While the project’s color palette is perfectly matched to its mountain setting, the bright and warm combination of this skirt has me dreaming of summering in Italy.

My sister-in-law (who has been doing my hair for years) introduced me to this product and it now has a permanent place in my beauty arsenal. It’s perfect for after drying and before curling—this spray keeps everything looking and feeling smooth and glossy.

We’re packing up the Airstream for another family outing. Camping with three littles is always an adventure—fingers crossed we all sleep well and avoid waking before the sun, haha. Good news is, we know we will all be eating well with Chef Syd on menu duty.
