After all the plans are made, the paint is dry, and the tile is laid, it’s time for the pieces that bring each space to life. Here are the collective favorites from the Studio McGee archives.
Choosing furniture and decor for our projects has always been one of our favorite parts of the process. Studio McGee’s first-ever client project was styling shelves with decor, and as the briefs grew, our sourcing lists did, too.
Though each project is different and requires unique selections, every designer has a few favorites, and we’re excited to share a few of our most-loved pieces from our projects in this post. Scroll through to see how we styled them!
Orla Dining Table

Everleigh Slipcover Sofa

Reese Sofa
We designed the Reese Curved Sofa with a unique silhouette featuring smooth, fluid curves. With a frame handcrafted from alder wood for durability, and down wrapped cushions for luxurious comfort, this sofa is full of both form and function. The Heath Cabinet
With a traditional design, our Heath Oak Cabinet is stately and elegant. This oak cabinet was crafted with a keen attention to detail, featuring keyholes and round pulls on the drawers and beautiful glass doors enclosing three shelves. The bun feet also add a charming detail to this large oak cabinet.
Molly Chair

Delaney Nightstand
Our Delaney Nightstand was created with an elegant design and intentional details, making it a subtly traditional nightstand. Crafted from birch veneer and finished with brass hardware, this traditional nightstand features plenty of storage along with its rounded edges and bun feet.
Ralph Oak Counter Stool
With a comfortable linen cushion, our Ralph Oak Stool creates a welcoming feel at your counter or bar. Its white oak legs and seat make up the simple structure of the stool, complementing the neutral tone of the cushion for a soothing aesthetic to suit your kitchen space.
Mina Bed

Gala Floor Mirror

A unique wood crafted seat adds a rustic feel to the contemporary Johan Counter Stool. Its natural iron base features smooth curved legs, bringing visual interest to its simple, modern design.
Williamsen Counter Stool
Before the Williamsen Counter Stool came numerous drawings and multiple drafts made in our studio to ensure every detail was just right. We designed its architectural base to juxtapose with the smooth curve of its oak wood top. Brass finished nails are its finishing touch, showing each feature was carefully refined.
Marlow Pedestal
Crafted from oak in a streamlined design, the contemporary yet organic Marlow Pedestal gives a subtle accent to seating and living rooms. Available in two sizes, this elongated, geometric wood accent balances a modern feel with natural material and texture.
Johanson Woven Sconce
Featuring a streamlined yet organic bell-shaped shade woven from natural rattan, the Johanson Woven Sconce is plated in a contrasting antique bronze finish and swivels 140-degrees. Seamlessly blending modern shapes with textural materials, this sconce brings an organic, airy tone everywhere from hallways to bedrooms.
Selas Chair
Clean and straightforward, the Selas Chair has a slender frame of black-finished iron and a floating ladder back of black, solid parawood. This frame holds cushions upholstered in high-performance fabric, with rear fabric handles that bring a thoughtful finishing touch to the piece.

We designed our Orville Extension Dining Table with both intimate family dinners and large holiday gatherings in mind.
