One interior design trend we’re seeing a lot of and absolutely loving for 2025 is a reemergence of some 70s design decisions, remade in a more modern way. While some 70s interior design trends we’re happy to leave in the past, this one is so brilliant when done in a way that will age with the home instead of with the trend. Wood-paneled walls aren’t made for overbearing dens and outdated kitchens. In The Oaks Project, Shea and the design team lined the walls of the home’s game room in a beautiful oak wood, perfect for game nights at home with family and friends. And while we know paint and wallpaper well, and even plaster at this point, we urge you to consider wood-clad walls for an organic and naturally beautiful wall treatment.
