Ten Kids Rooms We Love
Contents
A place to nurture wonder and creativity that’s always the goal when designing a kid’s room.
Designing a kids’ room is a lot like creating a functional space for adults — but with a magical twist. A great children’s bedroom design must spark imagination, promote a sense of safety, and reflect the child’s unique personality through a thoughtful color palette and personalized decor.
Over the years, Shea and the Studio McGee interior design team have had the joy of crafting many inspiring kids’ room ideas for our clients. From initial mood boards to finished, functional play spaces, we’ve witnessed how a room can truly become a child’s personal haven. Our approach always includes maintaining a sense of cohesion with the home’s overall design while giving each kids’ bedroom its own identity and charm.
Whether it’s a pattern-filled retreat or a serene, neutral space, these bedroom design ideas for kids are built to evolve as they grow. Our goal is always to create a room that feels as good on day one as it does years later — spaces that foster independence, creativity, and comfort.
If you’re searching for cool kids’ bedroom inspiration, we invite you to scroll through a few of our favorites below.
